Manual therapy
Manual therapy is a clinical approach based on skilled “hands on” therapy to decrease pain and improve the mobility of joints, soft tissues and nerves. We offer a variety of manual therapy techniques from Maitland, Mulligan, Traction, Massage, Trigger Point Release, Active Release, Assisted Active Range of Movement, Passive Range of Movement, stretches (muscle, neural tissue, joints, fascia), Modality assisted soft tissue mobilization and joint mobilization. Many patients with acute or chronic pain and joint stiffness and muscle tension can benefit from manual therapy.
Senior Citizen Care
Our physiotherapy team will help older adults to build the strength and stability needed to live life on their terms: to reduce pain and to improve strength & flexibility to enhance patients ' quality of life. We also provide advice on how exercises can be done safely and also strongly recommend individualized exercises for elderly patients as a part of a daily routine.
Tendon Clinic
This is a specific rehab plan we have for acute and chronic tendinitis. We integrate regenerative medicine, and procedures of ultrasound-guided injections and tendon-specific physio treatment to manage tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, runner's knee, Achilles tendinopathy, biceps tendonitis, plantar fasciitis and other common tendon injuries.
Sport Injury Rehabilitation
Sports injury rehabilitation is our everyday practice. We treat all types of injuries and joint pain. We offer non-surgical options and can also work closely with your surgeon for post-surgical rehabilitation.
Vestibular Rehabilitation
Vestibular rehabilitation therapy involves exercises that helps you manage vestibular disorders that primarily presents with dizziness, vertigo and balance impairments. We have physiotherapists that are trained to do specific assessments followed with treatment techniques, as well as provide appropriate treatments to resolve symptoms. Treatments may include patient and caregiver education as well as in-clinic and home exercises.
Concussion management
We have trained physiotherapists that can screen and assess for a suspected concussion. The use of evidence-based tools such as the Sport Concussion Assessment Tool (SCAT5) is used for assessment. A referral to sports physician, if a severe concussion is suspected. If the neck or spine has been affected and leading to post-concussion symptoms like vertigo, dizziness and loss of balance, manual therapy, myofascial release techniques and vestibular rehabilitation therapy are recommended.
