Biokinetics
We specialize in exercise-based therapy and rehabilitation. We focus on the assessment, prescription, and supervision of exercise programs to improve physical function, prevent injuries, and promote overall health and well-being.
Orthopaedic Rehabilitation
We will begin by conducting a comprehensive assessment of the patient's orthopaedic condition, which may involve evaluating the range of motion, strength, flexibility, balance, and overall functional abilities. This assessment helps me understand the patient"s specific needs and limitations. We will prescribe and demonstrate appropriate exercises to the patient. These exercises aim to improve strength, flexibility, joint stability, coordination, and overall functional capacity. We will take into consideration the specific orthopaedic condition, the stage of recovery, and any other individual factors.
Weight Loss
By assessing your current physical condition, including body composition, cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength, and flexibility, we can determine the starting point, and tailor an exercise program accordingly, specifically for you. Based on the assessment, we will develop a structured exercise program that combines cardiovascular activities, resistance training, and flexibility exercises. The program will be designed to maximize calorie burn, increase metabolism, and improve overall fitness.
Pre & Post natal training
We design a safe and appropriate exercise program tailored to the specific needs and fitness levels of pregnant women. They consider factors such as the stage of pregnancy, any pre-existing conditions, and individual goals.
These exercise programs can help improve cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength, flexibility, and overall well-being.
Pregnancy places additional stress on the core and pelvic floor muscles. We teach pre and post-natal women exercises that target and strengthen these areas, helping to prevent issues like diastasis recti (separation of abdominal muscles) and pelvic floor dysfunction.

Posture screenings and corrections
We will evaluate your posture to identify any deviations, imbalances, or asymmetries. They may use various techniques such as observing your standing and sitting positions, assessing joint alignment, and analyzing movement patterns to determine areas of concern.
Chronic diseases
We work with individuals who have chronic conditions such as Cardiovascular disease, Stroke patients, Parkinson’s disease, High Blood pressure, Metabolic syndrome, High Cholesterol, Diabetes, Stress-related disorders, Arthritis, Osteoporosis. We develop exercise programs to manage these conditions, improve cardiovascular fitness, control blood sugar levels, and promote weight loss.
Sport Specific training / Athletic performance (Injury prevention and recovery)
We provide sport-specific exercises to improve athletic performance. This includes power, speed, agility, strength, endurance and core stability. We also help with the prevention of overused muscles that leads to injuries.
Senior and frailty care
We can play a significant role in helping the elderly by promoting their overall health and well-being through physical activity and exercise. Biokineticists are trained to evaluate the physical capabilities and limitations of individuals. They can assess an elderly person's mobility, strength, balance, flexibility, and cardiovascular fitness. This assessment helps identify areas that need improvement and guides the development of an appropriate exercise program. Falls are a significant concern for the elderly, as they can lead to severe injuries and a decline in overall health. Biokineticists can design exercises that focus on improving balance, coordination, and strength, reducing the risk of falls.
Women Wellness
- For us, as women, physical activity is so important for our well-being. Engaging in physical activity has a positive impact on the following aspects of health:
- Mental and emotional well-being,
- Weight management,
- Bone health (women are more prone to developing osteoporosis),
- Hormonal health (It can help regulate menstrual cycles, alleviate premenstrual symptoms, and reduce the severity of menopausal symptoms),
- Sleep quality.
- Decrease the risk of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, and certain types of cancer (e.g. breast cancer.)
